Growing up with an architect father and interior designer mother, Andrea has been exposed and developed a passion for arts for as long as she can remember.
With a unique eye for color, expressive and energetic style with references to Neo-expressionism, Andrea creates color-inspired, electric, upbeat paintings. By constantly searching for the harmony between form, abstraction, order and chaos, Andrea pours her all-or-nothing personality into every inch of her work.
She is inspired by the power, frankness and energy of the artists – Jean-Mitchel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Helen Frankenthaler and Pollock.
By only using her hands she is able to combine layers of conceptual images with the medium of acrylics to create abstract art.
Andrea says of her work “Art should be persuasive and compelling and always striking to provoke a real emotion”.
Andrea emphasis on constant growth and passion for travel is demonstrated bu his continual exploration of artistic techniques and mediums.
Andrea was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico and completed her bachelor of integral Design Degree from ITESO University in 2008.
